Tackling this project was both challenging and hugely rewarding. Because it was our own home! Deciding on how much of this house we could knock out and how much our budget could be extended led to great deliberations!
We ended up knocking out much more than intended, changing all the wooden windows and doors to aluminum and frameless. Walls came out; ceilings came down, bathrooms out, kitchen out. New wiring of electrical, all new plumbing, patio, pool, new garage, pergola, garden, and so we went on and on and on!!!
That’s what happens once you start, so be aware should you decide on a renovation! BUT….. The end result was fantastic and makes very comfortable and enjoyable living!
